UBDC Director Professor Nick Bailey will be speaking at this I-SPHERE and SCADR Seminar on 'Administrative data for social policy research: potential and pitfalls'.
Professor Nick Bailey is an Associate Director of the Scottish Centre for Administrative Data Research (SCADR) and leads research on Work and social security. This research strand aims to explore patterns and factors around employment and social security across the UK, as well as the impacts they may have on health in Scotland. This is carried out across two strategic impact programmes: ‘World of Work’ and ‘Poverty and fair work’.
The seminar will be introduced and chaired by Professor Morag Treanor from I-SPHERE at Heriot Watt University. Morag is a fellow Associate Director of the Scottish Centre for Administrative Data Research (SCADR) and co-leads research on children’s outcomes.
